"TO ENABLE EVERY INDIVIDUAL TO SUCCEED AT SCHOOL AND IN LIFE"

Summer Volunteering Projects

Summer Projects ‘Volunteering for Health’, with Birmingham and Solihull For Students aged 14-25

A great opportunity which we are excited to share. A range of summer volunteering projects are available for young people aged 14-15 can get involved in. These are perfect for any young person  interested in health, social care, community work, or just wanting to do something meaningful over the summer holidays. These projects are sponsored by the national programme called ‘Volunteering for Health’, which Birmingham and Solihull have received funding to enable more volunteering opportunities for young people. We have far more young people who desire opportunities to have Work Experience opportunities or volunteer in the NHS, so these volunteer projects offer a broad array of options for short bursts of activity.

These opportunities are designed for students to explore career paths, build confidence, gain real life skills and help shape real-world health projects that will benefit local communities. At the moment, these opportunities include 10 projects, which can sign up for using this form. https://forms.office.com/e/uqTkkrxYSG
The project  is asking anyone interested and completing the form to rank each project in order of importance and to also state why the project is important tp them. This will help BSol offer the projects fairly across the application base. Applicants are welcome to apply to all the projects but allocation offered will allow at least one project in their top 3 choices. The form will remain active until all the projects are full.
